It's known locally as the "Via dell' Amore" (the way of love).

"Lovers locks" are plentiful with keys tossed to the sea.

I had dreaded going to the Cinque Terra in July, but it was even more beautiful than the last time I was there. It also wasn't as crowded as I'd feared. Of the five fishing villages, it is Monterosso that has this amazing beach, my favorite place to book a hotel.
