ITALY FEVER: View Toward St. Mark's Square

Following her passion for the Mediterranean lifestyle, Marwitz and her husband, David, and yellow Labrador, Hanna, live in Austin---and Fredericksburg, Texas where they have a slice of campagna along the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country.

Darlene Marwitz has two graduate degrees from the School of Architecture at The University of Texas in Austin. Following the writing of her first book, ITALY FEVER: 14 Ways to Satisfy Your Love Affair with Italy, Marwitz juggles a design and historic preservation consulting business, research for a new book, and the design for a future art studio.
